Carol Stutesman taught at Seaside High School for 29 years and left the bulk of her estate for scholarships to Seaside High School graduating seniors. Her generosity fits the life and effort she gave to students at Seaside High School during her teaching career. As a business teacher, volleyball coach, basketball coach, and softball coach, Carol lived a life of dedication and excellence for her students and coworkers. Carol was always striving to give her students the most up to date information in a quickly changing field. She was fun loving, demanding, loyal, kind and generous. Her special brand of earthy sensibility caused many of her players and students to keep in touch with her well beyond their high school years.

- For an Academic 4-year Degree Program Scholarship – G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher
- For a Vocational Degree / Certificate Scholarship – G.P.A. of 2.0 or higher
- This scholarship is renewable for 3 more years (4 years total).
