Cannon Beach American Legion Scholarship

This scholarship can be used for post-high school training at any trade/technical or business school, two- or four-year college or university.

  • Community and school involvement
  • Financial need

Coastal Family Health Center Scholarship

  • Graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • Pursuing a career in the health care field.

Patrick D. Dillian Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will go to a graduate of Seaside High School who has shown in daily associations with others qualities of outstanding leadership; of being humane; and of cooperation, honesty, kindness, consideration, and intelligence.

  • Graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • Enroll at one of the institutions operated by the Oregon State Board of Higher Education (EOU, OIT, OSU, PSU, SOU, UO, WOU)

Robert Filori Memorial Scholarship

Bob’s family established this scholarship to continue his legacy of education and to assist students to achieve their life’s goal.

  • Graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher
  • Attending an Oregon School
  • Interested in the teaching field

Jason M. Goodding Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established as a memorial for Sgt. Goodding. The money can be used for educational expenses at any two or four year institution and will be awarded directly to the school upon full-time enrollment.

  • Graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • Must pursue a career in a law enforcement related field or a career in education.
  • Additional Requirement:  In 500 words or less please describe how would you positively impact your community through the pursuit of a career in law enforcement or education.

Elliott Hearing Memorial Scholarship

  • Graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • Actively involved in the arts while in High School
  • Hopes to study the arts

Peter Hill Memorial Scholarship

The money from this award may be used for educational expenses at any trade/technical or business school, two- or four-year college or university.

  • Graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Community and school involvement and leadership

Jandrall-Babcock Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored by the Seaside High School 1930’s classes.  This award can be used for post-high school training at any technical or professional school, or two- or four-year college or university.  Selection will be from those applying who have not received $1000 or more in Seaside High School Local Scholarships in the current year. If no applicants qualify, the scholarship will not be awarded.

  • Graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • Accepted as a half-time or better student by an institution of higher education;
  • GPA of 2.75 or higher from sophomore year through first semester of senior year.

Mr. Knop Memorial Scholarship

  • Graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • Additional Requirement:  In 100 words or less describe how a hobby
    has influenced your life and your plans for continuing this hobby in the
    future.

Lorian (Lory) Louis Marlantes Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship can be used for educational expenses at any U.S. trade/technical or business school, or two- or four-year college or university.

Dorene Raterman Memorial Scholarship

  • FEMALE graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher
  • Enrolled at Seaside High School for at least one year
  • Involvement in activity/athletic program
  • Well-liked by classmates and teachers

Wendy Richardson Memorial Scholarship

This memorial scholarship was set up in her name by those who loved her. Wendy accepted and loved all walks of life.

  • Graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • Someone who shows a supporting attitude and involvement in the community.

Charles E. Smith Vocational Grant

This scholarship is in memory of Dr. Charles E. Smith, Superintendent of Administrative School District #10 for 14 years.  He was a strong supporter of Industrial Arts Education.

  • Graduating Senior from Seaside High School
  • Student will be pursuing an Industrial Arts skill through further training or employment

Spruce Street Scholarship

This scholarship was established by residents of Spruce Street in Gearhart to support Seaside High School graduates.

Toyooka Family Scholarship

The money from this award may be used for tuition expenses at any four-year college or university.

Timothy S. Williams Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by his wife and his sister to help students begin that process of lifelong learning
